Taylor Swift - Folklore (Gold Variant) - OPEN COPY

This copy was opened very carefully and literally handled with gloves just to verify color. It's still in the shrink wrap for you and includes the hype sticker. The inner sleeves were only pulled out far enough to peek in and see the color and were then placed back in the gatefold. This is essentially a new album but has been discounted as a courtesy. Hi Swifties! Thanks for stopping by to check this out. So we took a couple of detail photographs to highlight the differences of the inner sleeves and the record color on this new pressing as compared to the original. In the the 3rd and 4th photos the original beige pressing is on the left and the new gold color pressing is on the right.

Pictured in the 3rd photo is the difference in the inner sleeve, the original being a glossy finish, the new one being a slightly different color and printed on a matte finish.

In the 4th photo we've shown our own personal copies of the albums side-by-side so you can easily see the tonal difference. The original beige pressing first available on her website and to independent record stores in on the left. Ours is from her website. The brand new version currently being shipped to stores is on the right.

If you're variant collecting Folklore (like we are ;-)) there's some subtle but very nice differences in these two pressings that you're sure to love!
